Judging from the DNA menu in ACII, the total game takes place from 1459 (fight with Vieri) to 1499 (the Vault). That's fourty years! I remember a developer saying in an interview (I think it was with IGN) that Ezio is fourty-something. That would mean that Ezio was less than ten years old when he fought with Vieri.

It seems more likely to me, however, that he was 18-20 around the time. This would make Ezio 58-60 at the end of the series. Well, if you're that age, you're probably going to be in worse condition than in your twenties, so Ezio shouldn't run as fast and I'd doubt he'd be able to go on missions without any help.
Also, Mario is how old in the beginning of the game? In his thirties, at least. That would mean that Mario is 70 at the start of AC:B. (He looks about 50 to me)

Seems to me that the Auditores age VERY well...

well the game actually starts in 1579, im sure. the fight with vieri took place when he was 17 also, if he kept his training up for all that time he wouldn't be in too bad condition. also keep in mind they are descended from gods. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

So basically, in 1499, Ezio is 40 years old.

ACII starts in 1459 - Ezio's birth (in the Abstergo's Animus). After that, you continue the story (in the Assassin's Animus 2.0) in 1476 - when Ezio is 17 years old. From there, you follow him through 23 years of his life, or when the game ends - in 1499, when Ezio is 40 years old.

ACB (starts) continues the story right after that - in 1499. Judging by Wikipedia, Cesare Borgia (most likely the main villain, if they don't come out with another plot twist) died in 1507 - if that will be the final year of the game (the end of the game), Ezio will be 48 years old, witch means, that he'll still be in good condition - like someone already said - take Jackie Chan for example...

Oh, wow. I didn't figure that one out. I figured the birth wouldn't be in the DNA sequence stuff (always thought it started with Vieri) Thanks for clearing that up!

I did do a search, but nothing turned up on the first few pages, so I gave up.

Topic can be closed now.

Look at (old) Snake from Metal Gear Solid 4... Still... Does it care that Ezio is 40 or 50?

oh i thought i said 1479, i didnt notice, brain musn't be working.
and technically old snake isn't old, its just his dna making his body age faster, plus he has the luxury of a muscle suit and lots of modern gadgets, all ezio gets is some medevilish armor.

Old Snake was still in his 40s.

And people can do anything, if he kept climbing buildiongs and things he would still be in excellent shape at the age of like 50.

I mean, there's this really bad heroin addicted drug dealer around my house and he's gotta be like 80 but he bikes around all day doing his deals.

That bike keeps him alive, im sure of it.

maybe its all the drugs keping him alive, all the wonderful wonderful drugs.

and as i said before if ezio kept up his training he'd still be fit as a fiddle.

I don't think so.

It's only natural that your performance starts going down as you become older. You can't stop it. Now some might live longer than others, but I think I'll be able to outrun Ezio when he's sixty.

I think that if he keeps fit he'll be able to run just as fast as he used to.

i know i was was going to explain more but i had to gett of my computer, it is possible to still be very fit at forty (plus hes not 100% human) but think it real life termes, would you like to play a sequel where the protagonist is worse than in the previous game?

I think he's a game character so his age is of no concern.

However, for everyone saying if he kept up training and stuff up until the age of 50, he won't be in the same shape he was as a 20 year old. Even if you train non-stop, you can't postpone arthuritis and other such age releated diseases.

Also, back in the 1500's, wouldn't 40 be classed as a very old man? Up until the early 1900's wasn't 40/50 years old classed as the average age to live to

In 1507 ezio would be 48 andithink that's the year that the game ends.
48 isn't that bad for Ezio...
And as someone already mentioned, he is part god(?).
Could someone explain how ezio is part god?(sorry if this is an ignorant question)

the Glyphs in Ac ii explain that the bloodline of Desmond is directly descended from those who came before the beings that created humanity and these guuys have advanced powers hence the eagle vision so they probably lived longer than ordinary humans]

In the end, if Ezio kept fit, he would probobley start to feel very old. Like a 70 year old at a disco.
And since when did Ezio become a half-god?
EDIT: Thanks^

well, s'pose this is sort of spoilerish. but it would seem ezio, altair desmind are descended from TWCB, if you watch the truth viseo, it may explain.

this also explains eagle vision.
