There was a really good article in a issue of Game Informer Magazine. I scanned it so everybody can read it. I didn't wanna re-type it all out so you'll just have to maximize it and scroll left or right/updown to read it.

I thought it was a really informative read. It'll take you awhile but it was worth it. They go over the 10 must-know features to prepare you for the biggest and most complex game yet in the franchise.

10 Things to know before you play Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (http://img813.imageshack.us/img813/9308/gititle.jpg)

#4 More collectibles other than flags and feathers?! *groans*

#5 The VR training thing sounds a lot like the Competitive modes in Batman: Arkham Asylum... solo events that you compete with other gamers in via leaderboards. Sounds like an interesting addition to the game.

#6 George W. Bush, huh? I sure hope he's portrayed as a Templar a-hole in the game. That would be fitting with his desire in turning the United States into a Christian Theocracy.

It IS an article.

It's an article of a magazine. I scanned the pages so you have to view them as pictures but you should be able to read them by maxing the picture size and zooming in.

If you want to pick up a copy of the magazine it's Game Informer Issue 211 w/ Resistance 3 on the cover & a Yellow Arrow top left corner saying Assassin's Creed Brotherhood: 10 things you need to know pg.62

...replace Bush with Obama, and Christian Theocracy with Socialist Regime... and you've got what I'm hoping for, lol http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

But seriously, I hope they just portray all recent politicians as either Templar-connected or downright incompetant. No side-taking required http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I know it was an article, but I would of liked it in like an article form so I wouldn't have to zoom in and scroll sideways. But if it was from a magazine then it's fine.

Yes I read the whole article myself. And I'm glad that feature was added but according to #4 in the article the flags and feathers aren't the only collectibles. It says that Desmond finds a journal written by Ezio's sister Claudia and goes on to say that it is only one of several hidden collectibles that tie Desmond to his ancestors. I don't think flags or feathers fit in the category of collectibles that tie Desmond to his ancestors. It seems to me that Ezio will collect flags and feathers while Desmond will collect an undermined amount of antique items. Apparently Ezio will also have to find chests with items that shops need. I forget which number that was under, but my point here is that there seems to be more than just flags and feathers to collect.

I called it, I knew the artifact achievement would refer to things left from ezios time and not actual PoE. Im putting money that ezios seemingly missing second hidden blade will be found there as well (assuming he lost it from the seige)

I doubt the hidden blade would be missing from the siege. That would mean Ezio would not have double blades throughout the game but we've seen videos of him doing double blade kills so unless he replaced one that was missing or lost one later I doubt a lost hidden blade would be among the items Desmond has to locate.

Ya maybe the special items you get from the art merchants are flag/feather maps. Also great to see another vikings fan on the boards.

I can't stand looking for these types of things though. DId the article mention what reward you would get if you did decide to go hunt for these objects?

Im putting money that the missing one will be obtained by desmond, while Ezio will eventually get a new one. he looks like his blades got fancier from AC2 in the portiat pics anyways, though those might just be guantlets, lol

if you mean the artifact, its mostly just nolstalgic story info.

if you mean the Crypt reward no (most likely a cool weapon or super armor like in AC2. I highly doupt it would be wolf armor, but wouldnt it be funny to obtain some to wear?)

Just because it's missing in a couple of scenes doesn't mean he lost it in the siege. In the video of Ezio taking down a Borgia tower he does a double blade drop down kill on 2 guards so like I said unless he lost it later or remade a new one it's unlikely he lost it in the siege. There is likely another reason why it isn't shown in some of the gameplay videos while shown in others. Perhaps like AC2 he starts out with 1 and has to do something to get the 2nd one.

Yeah I agree with Oathkeeper. I think it'll just be some upgraded weapons or armor. You don't have to get it but it will make it easier on you and more fun with the different weapons. I didn't find all the feathers/flags in either AC or ACII but I might do that for AC:B if they rewards are better then just an achievement.

If Claudia's notes are anywhere near as philosophically enlightening as Altair's then I can't wait. I just hope she doesn't talk about how religion is "good" or how the book is "useful"

check again, he kills one guard and the other freaks out.

I really think desmond will get his second blade from searching the grounds (the artical does say he will be able to go into the actuall town)

and besides, i believe someone recently asked ubigabe via twitter if you would start out with the 2 hidden blades and his response was "Did Ezio start off with both blades in AC2?"

At 2:00 he kills 2 with double blades while taking down a Borgia tower. Neither one gets up. They're both dead.
