I'd play as best I could if I was strapped in that.

I wish someone game designer would take that idea and run with it. We get to respawn and re-live til we all become aces in whatever game we choose to play. There has never been a real-individual penalty(I can't think of one) for dying in online gaming. Sure you may hurt the team effort or loose some points but never someway to reflect what would hurt the most...experience.

I'm sure we would all fly a smidge differently if dying could somehow cost you something you can't regain easily.

Flight sim wise it could be as simple as a host setting that ever so slightly dulled the senses per deaths ORRR..(catching myself sounding waytoo serious and delerious) we all have pc chairs that eject us when we bail!! :P There goes Ned to the floor!

My "punishment" for getting shot down is to hit the floor for a set of 25 or some reps with the weights.

After you've been shot down four or five times, and your arms are starting to burn, you not only feel motivated to avoid being a lawndart, but the increased heartbeat and muscle fatigue adds to the immersion. Seriously.

Also gives your eyes a rest, keeps you healthy, and lets the blood back into your legs.I do the same thing with Ghost Recon. Get shot - hit the floor.

I agree with the team mates thing - if I knew my buddy would get the Hell shocked out of him if I "accidentally" shot him, I'd become the clumsiest armchair pilot ever. Then again, I'm a masochist, so I guess I should just keep my mouth shut. *grumbles*
