Thanks Euro, thats exactly what I was looking for.

I just dont like Hyperlobby. I dont like the interface, it uses too much memory, it slows down my system, etc. etc.

Hey Snoop, can you please update the greatergreen info with this:

server IP: 209.209.44.54:21000
Public TS IP: 198.53.159.198 pw: servus

After the dedicated server patch is released we will be back up to speed.

Thx

TB

I use http://www.udpsoft.com/eye2/index.html

ASE is great for detecting pf servers since you can look at which version the server is hosting.
Also it gives you an accurate player count unlike HL. My favorite feature is the automatic connection in case a server is maxed out with players. Works with almost every popular game on the market. Oh did I mention its free...

How does one directly join a game using the ip? What are the steps for setup and to join using this method?

LOL read the manual http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
it's on CD 2 of FB
or in you game directory if you have 3.0xx

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Check conf.ini too after you exit an online game...

"remoteHost" will hold the IP of the last Host http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Tip: If you got bad ping online - exit game and try to join through IP - it might get a lot better http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

okok

Run the game / Multiplay / Create/Join Server / Either look for one on the LOCAL network - or type-in the IP followed by ":21000" (that's the default-connection port

Hi
Just a quick question on ASE: is there a way to see coops and online wars on the interface? All i can see is Dogfight Servers.

Thnx

that's a good question...

There is a Coop tab on the left - with no games showing. That's because all players have to be there before it starts http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif - like make an appointment ! and TRY - ASE is still 2nd after By-IP

It's only usefull for like "join me between xx:xx and xx:xx xx time" - remember its worldwide - for a coop if you don't know your clients (the ones that join the coop) - UBI's better in that believe me http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
