Hello http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

There is a very nice server named
"Easternhotshots" on Hyperlobby for 64 players!.

It has settings simmilar to the War_Clouds server for those who are interested and has nice low ping for us living in or near Europe.

Setting is based in 1942 eastern front.

I am posting here because others may not have used it yet, or may want to visit to see if they also like it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Ah, thanks for the little bit of attention Yum Yum. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yeah, we hope to get the server full again. Searching for the sweet spot of how many we can host for with the new "many users at the same time" feature. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Bumpipty,bumpity bump.

Looked in the other night but no one was on.
Shame.
I like the look of the settings and would much rather play on the easteren/westeren theatre than the Specific ocean.
No trolling just a personal preference.

Ofcourse http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Now if we all agree to fly at a agreed time, we could perhaps draw more people in. Say the coming few days, every evening starting at 20:00 CET or also GMT+1.. be there!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I dipped in last night for just a couple sorties. I can say it was fun and the lag/stutter was nonexistent for me.

I didn't fly very well, but I had fun. I've GOT to get more stick time in. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

The server didn't have more than about 20 people on while I was there and there were a couple squads on in force. Made for some hot mix-ups and quick reflys a few times....good fun.

Nice to hear Thunderbolt! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Especially the no lag comment. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

What time did you enter btw? I cant remember seeing you there, maybe I just went to bed when you hopped in.
Hopefully tonight. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I was on between 9-11 pm EST. I was only on for about 30-45 mins though. Enough for a couple good sorties then I had to split. A few of the pilots on were Mad_Moses, Ozabo and a few of the JG53 guys as well as a pair of squaddies (sorry can't remember the prefix) named CITY and ZSW. I popped ZSW twice but got popped in return by his wingy CITY after pressing the attack too long.

I'll bring my own wingman next time...be sure http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I'd like that IP also as I usually connect to most servers direct.

Hmmmm... Eastern front http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

No time to fly right now, but I'll check it out after Christmas. Good to see some Eastern servers coming back after the Pacific exodus.

Ah yeah, we really like these settings, so that's why we fly with them actually. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

But that time you're flying I'm in my bed for like 3 hours already Thunderbolt. Bad timing. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif But who knows, one day we might meet in the sky when I stay up long enough. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Ah, nice Capt_Haddock you'll be welcome. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Edit: Oh and the ip for those interested: 130.89.227.135

Hah, last night we had some 40 people in the game, seems that close to the limit for our server. Plus it showed that our autokick could use a litte finetuning.

Thanks to all those that joined so far, we hope to be able to supply a server where everybody can have some good fun and love to hear feedback!

Regards
Arnie

Thanks a lot for the exposure, mate! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The Eastern Hotshots server is the S/JG54 main server, playing eastern front missions exclusively, with western front missions every once in a while. The difficulty settings are set to maximum, with no outside views, full difficulty, only your own plane showing on the map and limited icons.

The map rotation ensures that everyone gets their 'fix', with missions ranging from '41 up to '45 and then cycling back to '41 again. The plane sets are as realistic as possible, with seperate bomber bases and realistic frontlines.

Join us at Eastern Hotshots in hyperlobby, PT either Gryphonne, Arnie or me if you want the direct IP. Thanks. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
