Actually, I've seen a number of spots in Arizona that look like that--but they're at a lot higher altitude and much hotter from April to November. I expect residents of New Mexico, Nevada, and other Mountain Time Zone states can cite similar spots near them.

You misled those out of Britain, but not this Brit. That shack/hut in the first picture did not look at all feasible... I mean look at the size of it compared to the people next to it! You would barely get anything in there!

I was going to post `and your real house is?` but you`ve revealed the truth anyway.

The correct term for the shack/hut in the first photo is a BOTHY.There are hundreds(about 200)in Scotland and they provide FREE accomodation for anyone thats prepared to walk a bit to get there!!! Would love to live there though!!!! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Hi!

Aye - ISDN is a godsend, its perfectly fine for playing games on the net but those 100mg+ patches are a pain in the ash!

Hey anything is better than my old supraexpress modem!

Maybe one day we'll get BB!! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Well i don't have a photo, but i live in the south of england in a 1930's house - i have every hope of bombing it in the he-111 when BoB gets released lol

thats a thought, if Oleg needs any ground researchers for BoB im sure theres plenty of other southeners out there who'd be willing to help. plus my dad has a hefty collection of declassified RAF airfield plans, with peri tracks, accomodation blocks, machine gun butts, the lot. you just have to ask the MoD and they send them to you.

Sorry, don't have a picture for you. I'd like to post it so you could all "eat your liver", as they say in Catch22. You see, I live up the end of a very beautiful valley on the central coast of NSW, Australia, and the view from our veranda is drop dead gorgeous... as long as I'm not in it! But don't worry, the wife has had enough of it and wants to move us all back to Sydney http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

But that little brag is not my point. I wanted to mention that I have Satellite broadband! How cool is that? And I wanted to know if this exists elsewhere around the world? I figure you only need it in a country like Australia where there is just so much... nothing. So, is anyone else getting their dirty pictures, no , I mean vital communications, from the heavens?

Very interesting pics of Dundee. I grew up in Blairgowrie which is only 20 miles from Dundee so I spent a lot of time there. I now live in Canada.

Was most interested to see the picture of the Tay Bridge in the background. That was some train disaster they had when the bridge collapsed during a storm and 75 people died.

For details of the disaster, see attached link http://www.tts1.demon.co.uk/tay.html

Chimp, there are many guys living BY, IN or AROUND a garden. You're the first one I know who lives ABOVE it! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I have dreams about being there. and i've never been there. isn't that strange? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif
it's my ansetrail homeland. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Oh and if anyone there is in the area of Fordell think you could grap a few pics of Henderson Castell for me? i'd love to see it.
i just wish our clan owned it...but sadly it's in private hands now. (the barony died out in the 1800's i think) Maybe in a few more years i'll be able to afford that trip there.
If there's a Henderson in Scottland you know personally tell them Sola Virtus Nobiltat for me. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif!

Wow, that place is so beautiful I nearly jumped when I saw it! Is your house the one with the red roof?
