You already sick and tired of the Quick Mission Builder with it's limited options? Does the Full Mission Builder look just a tad too intimidating for now? Want something that will give you more without too much of a learning curve?

Use Mission Mate 2.71 (http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=8) instead.

Or you could also give The Uber Quick Mission Generator (http://www.uberdemon.com/index2.html) a shot.

Both programs are great.... I have seen @ 8 posts over the last 4 days about the limitations of the QMB. Both of these programs are great... I found MM to be a tad easier to use.... but both programs are unique enough to desrve a spot on any IL2 simmer's hard drive, and once you use them you will never use the QMB again.

A newbie is someone who is new to the sim, you'll notice the word 'new' right in the beginning of the word 'newbie'.

A n00b on the other hand, is someone who blames his poor performance on issues other than his own lack of skillz.

Mission Mate is great for new and old players alike.

n00b's on the other hand, well, the only thing you can do with them is continue to blow them out of the sky, and giggle when they blame lag, porked FM, Oleg's bias or what have you.

An odd question, perhaps, but does mission mate have to be installed on a machine that has '46 installed?

Nope.... if you install it on an earlier version you just wont be able to use whatever is missing be it planes or maps... or maybe objects... but it should work on anything 4.0 or higher.. and maybe even lower.. I dont know because I havent been under 4.04 in a long time.

I'm about to download it now. It's funny that I've never used such a good program before. Maybe I just overlooked it. It sounds like the way to go for quick missions as I've heard plenty of good comments about it.
Mission4Today's website has a good description of it in their download section.

I've been having more fun with Mission Mate the last few days than I think is even legal in this state. What a wonderful program for those of use who are sick of the QMB. Double heck, it's even got me motivated to tackle the dreaded FMB, even created a mission or two.

Mission Mate was the good swift kick in the arse that got me back into IL2.
