it seems like a nice composition

however I seriously dislike his tone, too thin and compressed.
and his playing is so mechanical (specially at the beginning). The piece certainly allows for way more emotional playing.

In general, I love the song, not so big on the playing.

btw this is not to say i could have done it better. He's obviously worked hard on his technique and it shows.

Another great guitarist from Brazil:

He's pretty good.
IMO i like it....but it would have sounded better on my PRS from my Line 6 combo. the tone is wrong for that tempo. And he's trying much too hard to come off like a Saturani. He's using a lot of the same effects as joe, so maybe that's where i got that from.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I had a look at some other videos, and think there are better
ones to show his skills. For instance:

I quite like him! Thanks for sharing.

Not as '4/4 American rock' as Satch, and not as 'out there' as Steve Vai.
A nice in-between. Seems more interested in the music than showing off, too.

Having said that, some of Vai's stuff is just indescribably good.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

How many guitarists does it take to change a lightbulb?

A: Four. One to screw in the bulb and Three to stand around claiming to be able to do it better.

Having said that, i like his us of bends and the echo effect. He needs more mid-range in his tone http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The composition itself is nothing to rave about. So is his playing..doesnt inspire..

This piece makes me cry..
