Hi All!

I just got Pe2 add on the other day and loaded it up but there's no single player missions. Loads of campaign stuff. Having to use QMB or UQMG which is fine and does the trick. I thought there would be some singles just to get a taste....?

Any ideas, I'm probably doing something particularly silly!!!

Cheers.

You're not doing anything wrong. There aren't any included. I guess they figured that a thorough training track was enough of a taster.

Errrr yes there are....there were in my 4.05 (which I got and downloaded) 2 Pe-3 missions and 3 Pe-2 look at this excerpt from the readme:

1C:Maddox Games, Ubisoft and Ilya Shevchenko are proud to present the Petlyakov Pe-2 bomber to the virtual pilots of the world. The little bomber affectionately known as the "Peshka" (Pawn) is the most famous Soviet twin-engine bomber of the war. It was to the twin-engines what the Il-2 was to the single-engines. Extremely versatile, the Pe-2 served in virtually any role imaginable: dive- and level bomber, heavy fighter, night fighter, reconnaissance, and more. Over 20 different modifications were produced during the war, with a total of 11,000 built. The Peshka served from the summer of 1941 well into the Cold War, where it received a NATO reporting name "Buck".

There is a bug in PE-2 installer which misplaces those files. Look into your main il-2 folder. "file.1" and "file.2" are the Pe-2 single missions. You need to move these files to the Pe-2 missions folder and rename them to "Pe-2_1.mis" and "Pe-2_2.mis".

Dohhh! I should have looked to confirm before replying ... the DVD includes single missions for both the Pe-2 and Pe-3 series.
