After almost two years I am starting to take a second deeper look at IL-2.Some of you may rememeber me from earlier days prior to FB, EAP and PF. I really enjoyed hosting the early "FULL realism experience" and the thought of popping into servers and blasting unsuspecting pilots is just too much to resist. Now that I have a choice of some of my all-time favorite planes (F6F helcat and the corsair) I just had to drop you all a line and say hello.

I had to take some time to get my career on track, give a house away to an ex wife and gain custody of my kids but now it appears I have the time to blow a few of you out of the sky. I am looking into new hardware for the add ons and new controller setups so if any of you have decent recomendations for computer hardware and specifically controllers ( usb rudder and digital flight stick) I would appreciate the comments.

On controllers, CH/Saitek is the way to go IMO. Whether you go all CH or a combination of X45/CH Pro Pedals or X52/CH Pro Pedals is a matter of preference and budget.

More of my opinion on and experience with controllers can be found by clicking the "Joysticks & FB" link in my sig.
