I purchased IL2 FB , downloaded http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif and installed and works fine. Then I got also AEP and is also fine. Now I want to install it in another computer (in another city, but this makes no difference) and I download, install, and when I come to unblock it by means of code in the invoice, I receive this nasty message:
"Nous sommes désolés, une erreur s'est produite, veuillez renouveler votre commande d'ici quelques minutes. Lors de cette nouvelle tentative, vérifiez bien les coordonnées bancaires et la date de validité que vous saisissez.
Si le probl¨me persiste, contactez notre support technique en indiquant précisément le probl¨me que vous rencontrez.

Veuillez nous excuser pour la gªne occasionnée."

I've resorted to customer service, and so far have no answer. I think I'll have one, for sure, but in the meanwhile I decided to bring this affair to the wise consideration of this forum...

Anybody...?

By the way, the message is nasty for itself, not for being in french...

It says.

"We are really very sorry, there has been a most terrible error, please re-enter your password in 15 minutes, that's how long it will take us to empty your account, please enter the details of all your other bank and credit card accounts so we can clean those out too. If the problem persists, we must have missed something so contact our technical support and they'll arrange for someone to come round and finish emptying your wallet."

Refreshingly honest if you ask me.

basically, it is saying that an error occured, that you should try later. It also say that if the error persist, you should verify your credit card informations, and if they are correct, contact the support.

Ah yes, and they are sorry for the inconvenience.

It's simple: it's that Boonty message saying that something has gone wrong with downloaded activation. It won't let you activate in other different PC than the one you first activated. You may have to contact UBI to get a new code.

It's a security device -similar to Windows XP activation. Only it works worse, and seems to have caducity, which is outrrrrrrageous.
