The videos are of movies made by community members. There is an extensive list on the site, but there are no "training" videos. S!

Nice compilation of the community effort.

Can we not download individual movies, or only CD? Could we at least have a link to the author's site?

Ok guys I'm really sorry about this link to the movie sites for direct D/L issue. ALOT of these movies don't have an "active" site for direct D/L. The problem for us in reference to that issue is that most people do not keep their movies online for a long time due to the ungodly amount of bandwidth required.

The last thing we want to do is have a bunch of links that go inactive quickly(as these movies tend to do) and would therefore defeat the purpose of having an "active link" to the movie. Not to mention double our site maintenance time.

Only a few have active links and over the next week or so we will try to provide direct links to the "long standing active" sites.

We incorrectly ASSuMEd that folks knew about the majority of these movies and had seen them, only to be very suprised that many of you did not know about them.

In the meantime a large number of 56ker's have filled our mailbox with requests. Now that community will have a chance to see what they have been missing. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by the site.

A lot of videos are available for download or viewing here:

Main web interface:
http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~chapman/flightsims/oberstguncam/Frameset/

or here, for direct download if you already know the movie by its name:
http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~chapman/flightsims/oberstguncam/Movies/

Thanks for your contribution, UCLANUPE (I can't remember that name, have to copy it /i/smilies/16x16_robot-wink.gif )

Cheers,
Mike

Yes, thank you. We have added links to the active sites for online viewing. I was also just informed that Hauptman99's Picks will be updated later this week as France Simulations has added additional community videos. S!
