You're right Godsock.

The scales have fallen from my eyes!

The fact that the rudder doesn't work on the K model is no need for concern. Afterall, Jimmy Hendrix learned to play the guitar upside down so all you luftwhiners can surely fly the K without a rudder.

Sure it`s easy to fly the K without rudder control as soon as you get in a spin just bailout!!!

But thats only if you can get it in the air without hitting something on take-off.....

LOL

Dear God of the Socks,

First, I hope that your favorite plane in 1.1 is as porked as the Bf.109K-4, that is you can not even take off with it.
Second, let people tell their opinion, expecially if they just complain about a gross fault Ubi has made without being offensive.
Third, if you don't seek for the best possible (I won't say perfection), you'll always stay with crap stuff.
Fourth, and final, if you don't stand whines, just don't read them!

Peace & Love /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

You may be right Sock, but using the K4 as an example, is not a good choice. No rudder is a major bug that shouldn't be there.

Ohhh....God of the Socks....i like that...at least most peeps agree with me.

Anyways, I don't have FB, yet, and i want it. Also, I don't prefer 109s, let alone K4s. I enjoy the P-39 Q1 or the Yak.

And, I can say "yall" 'cuz mah dad's Texan, yall hear?
AND, I don't read most complaints, but the titles give them away (PATCH SUCKS, and PATCH MADE BLAH DO BLAH!!)

I like you like that "God of the Socks" stuff... and I'm happy that you understood I was not trying to be offensive, just a bit.... "caustic"? (some people in these recent threads are not as smart!).
Still friends? /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

OH MY GOD !!!! You don't yet have FB, and you have already 300 posts on FB's forum! God save us from this guy when he will have FB with his beloved plane porked!!

By the way, what does "yall" mean?

Bye!

yall == You all. Some times used as a plural of You, as english does not have a seperate word for that.

You gotta admit like Buzz said...no rudder is MAJOR and it shouldnt have happened. I just hope it gets fixed ASAP so we wont have to see all these poor K-4 jocks filling the boards/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif I fly a Jug and a 39 myself...although i do like the P-40 and yes it does seem that the rudder is not the same as it was......

Complaining about whinners when you don't own the game is like going to school/work/whatever you people do without a brain.

Agreed. It's not his plane so he doesn't give a flying crap (what the K4 has now become). I fly the earlier 109s up to and including the G6s. But even I think a disconnected rudder on a plane I don't normally fly is a pretty major goof-up. Definately worth complaining about

Maybe in the next patch they can disconnect the Yak's ailerons or permanently jam it's guns. Then we'll see who should stop whining.

I highly suspect this is one of those weird glitchs in the code, on similare order to the P-40 exploding bug.

I would almost bet that the dev team made no direct changes to the K-4, so they didn't consider it vital to test that aircraft specifically, or many of the *many* other aircraft that were not directly modified in this patch.

Complex programs can sometimes do weird an inexplicable things; its the nature of coding. Object Oriented code is even worse. The actuall compiled machine code for a single simple object consists of dozens of Jump And Return functions, are constantly shuffling data bytes onto and off of the stack, and doing other strange and peculiar things. It may even be a weird glitch in the compire they used, that for some esoteric reason, it just happened to drop the connections to a couple of functions or so.

Wierd stuff happens when you are dealing with something this big and complicated. It looks like this is clearly a bug, and the dev team is certainly aware of it by now. I strongly suspect that we will have either a patch, or at least a statement by tomorrow. This is not a flight model issue; it is clearly a bug.
