Flying the BF_109E7NZ in the 1/JG27 campaign and do not have complex engine mgmt or engine overheat yet as my settings, what am I doing wrong? Am not using the GM1 as I know that shouldn't be used under 6500m.

CEM off.........

Maybe overheat.
Can you over-rev with CEM off? 3000 rpm for seconds and bang with CEM on.
Maybe bullet.

Can go to 110% power if that's what you mean? Have been trying not use more than 100% the last couple of missions and it just cut on me again, although I did on this occasion take a couple of .303 rounds but looked like they struck the wing.

Most aircarft will overheat quickly at 100% throttle for even a short period. Cut it back to 80 or 90% (or lower) and keep your radiator open when no threat of combat exists. 100% throttle should only be used when you really need power.
