Well, i've been putting this off too long, but here's a site I've been working on for hosting tracks. It is a work in progress. There should be new mission tracks up shortly. Also, if anyone has some especially good tracks to share, email: trackwerks@hotmail.com

Here's the main site: http://smack.telecom.ksu.edu/il2/

Enjoy

Cool site. I had a look at a couple of your tracks (0019-BF109F4vsYak9-MP-Norm.ntrk and 0005-La7vsYak3-MP-Norm.ntrk) how did you get the file size so small for such long tracks. I have skins turned off and my tracks can run into 3mb after a couple of minutes. Also you can edit your tracks to cut out the boring parts by just pressing record while your watching your tracks back and then the file size will be even smaller /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif .

Very nice site. I wish more people would post stuff like this. Keep it up.

Noticed the ksu.edu url. Are you a Kansas State fan/student/employee? If so, I live just to your north and I believe your Wildcats are going to be wooping butt on my state's official and soon to be semi-pro (if 3 other Big 12 schools approve of a pay plan as well) team the Cornhuskers.

You wrote this at the website: By the way, NTRKs are big though, and they dont compress.

When i do cmpaign missions and recod them they become NTRKs. When do the movie go TRK?

Yes, I'll look into editing out dead space in tracks, especially, for the online stuff. I'm going to give Virtual Online War a shot this weekend. I'll be sure to hold off recording until enemies are sighted.

I can't explain why my ntrk's appear smaller than what you're seeing. I'm playing with high detail and excellent long range visibility. However, I'd about gaurantee that graphics settings wont affect ntrk size. I also have the connection settings set to T1/LAN or whatever.

Glad you liked the site. More to come in the next few days.

In single play, at the end of missions, you're given the option to save. These will be saved as regular trk files, and yes, they compress very well, unlike the ntrks.
