Well, the first problem is that my monitor is set to 1280x1024 85Hz, but when I choose 12x9(that's all the game gives) my whole PC sets to that res and the Hz goes down to 60. It doesn't happan on any other resolution. only when I use 1280x 9something.

The second problem is that I don't get any server or say i can't connect to the server list. Even with the Ubi tool when i join a server it says connectiong or so, but it stays like that forever and i can't connect. I tried with firewall turned off but no luck either way.
I setted my internet connection to xDSL. The instruction Manuel got no solution for my probs.
I hope someone here can give me a helping hand.

I installed Pacific Fighters alone, without IL2 and AEP.

HELP!!!

First answer: You are probably running WindowsXP. WinXP, if application resolution does not match your desktop will default refresh rate to 60Hz. To solve this you need to download refresh lock application... or if you own ATI card, latest 4.10 drivers with ATI control center which has refresh lock option http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Second answer: http://hyperfighter.jinak.cz/ That`s where majority of people are flying, bout 10 times more then at UBI.
If you on DSL, go to IL2Setup, click Network tab and see how many IP`s are listed there, if there are any. If i remember correctly you have to select default IP from combo box. Maybe someone will correct me. Also if you are behind the router, you need to open port 21000 for both, TCP and UDP.

Just another tip: first switch the desktop resolution to 1280 x 960, set refresh rate at 85 Hz, and THEN start PF.

Hope this helps!

What refresh lock application do you recommend?

I have Windows XP Home SP2.

Thanks,

But the joke is that if I take any other resolution besides 12x9 it doesn't change my desktop res and Hz. so I have to play 11xsomething.

I did download hyperLobby(i read it in an earlier thread here http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif ) But I can't find the game PF.

Well, I can find servers with Ubi.com but my problem is that I can't connect. the game says connecting but it stays like this forever.

I got 2 IPs in the network setting. My IP and some unlnown. and there is default i think. So what to do...HELP....
