For anyone who likes to fly for the Finns, this may be of interest:

http://www.notam02.no/~hcholm/altlang/ht/Finnish.html

It's a kind of glossary of dirty words and expressions in Finnish. Might help with the atmosphere. (Though unfortunately there's nothing to tell you how they're pronounced.)

NOW we know what "mulla stondaa" means....

Oh, and if you go to the "Alternative Dictionaries" home page there's one for Hungarian too. Handy if you want to insult Issy.

Thats easy! Finnish is pronounced just as it is written. Weight is on the first syllable. Logical, as Spock would say.

รยค is pronounced as englishmen pronounce a in word "at", and รยถ as i in word "girl". Double consonants are audible and RRRRR rattles like MG-42.

PeRRRRkele.

I dont get what kind of letters are in that page; S should be รยค, small s should be y and those :a's should be รยค's.

So when you insult us, insult us correctly! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
