"DAYS OF EAGLES"- A Battle of Britain Scenario

Frame 1 November 8th - "Kanalkampf"
Officially the battle of Britain began on July 10th, when there was a gradual buildup of hostilities between the opposing air forces. The British admiralty decided that for matters of national prestige, the RN would sail the usual convoys around the coast of Kent. Lord Dowding, the head of Fighter Command was tasked with protecting these convoys with his meager resources. Dowding knew that this would only drag the RAF in a war of attrition that only the Germans could win, and committed the minimum forces to the job. [read more at events.wwiionline.com]

::: BUMP :::

Now this game may not give you the flight engine of IL-2 but it is the funnest game i've ever played. I played WW2ol when it first came out when it was an "alpha" release, probably the most embarasing game release ever... HOWEVER, that was still the funnest game ever... its been a few years since and the improvements are there. I haven't played for at least a year or 2 since my satelite sux.

I would reccoment this game to anyone who has time and patience, the rewards are great... this is the true online battlefield.. check it out guys... I'd reccoment Sturmgrenadier for a squad.. i worked with them.. excellent (at least for the axis side). www.sghq.com (http://www.sghq.com)

spread the word the game has improved 150% this is a great offer download it and play it....

its very addictive now and its getting more and more impressive with each patch.

the latest thing with the graphics is the switch over to an opengl graphics engine so you should notice a small bit of difference in graphics and alot of difference in FPS increase

it was fun playing for 6 months but way to costly for a game that looks like its from 1985. I dont think i'd ever go back to it and since the game is useless without the online account I broke mine in pieces http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
