I saw this article in todays Daily Mirror and as a Liverpool fan it made me chuckle.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/tm_headline=spy-in-the-sky...94762-name_page.html (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/tm_headline=spy-in-the-sky%26method=full%26objectid=18526463%26siteid=947 62-name_page.html)

Lets have a look at a list of suspects that I think may have some involvement in this.

1. Roman Abramovich
2. Arsene Wenger
3. Roman Abramovich
4. Roman Abramovich
5. Jose Mourinho
6. Roman Abramovich

Got to say though, the only time I would fly over the Man Utd team or Old Trafford is if I was in a Lancaster Bomber full of horse manure http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif.

I Suspect: Mathias Rust
(he's at it again!)

I think it was Borat.

I especially loved the part about the, "$100,000 engine that runs on jet fuel", part. Sure didn't look like a turbine plant to me.

That's because "a 100,000 engine which operates on jet fuel" sounds sexier than a "it has a diesel engine".

glad to see its not just us americans who are losing their minds http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Watch for security services to set up no fly zones and send any offending pilots off to gitmo.

Well, at least we know it wasn't Rafa or someone from LFC - the plane wasn't reported as nicked.

What a commotion for just men running around on a grassy knoll and trying to hit a sheep's blatter or the artificial variant of it.
And if it is so 'top secret' why didn't they shoot it down, like the sovjets would have try to do back in the days of the cold war http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif?

Give me a measure of how things are, if you could fertilize Man Utd (Manchester?) or do the
same to a gang of chavs then which would it be?

I believe the Americans are playing football now. Their satellite passes overhead every 45 minutes. Check google earth for all your secret moves. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Like most things today....all done for effect, football in UK is a bit of a mass hysteria thing..lots of sad types getting their dose of second hand glory to help them through the dimly lit drudge of reality.
I feel its symptomatic of the whole bias towards image and bull**** above actual content and meaning, which pervades the whole of modern society

Can't believe I'm doing this... but "Association Rules Football" (i.e. 'soccer') was "Football" before "American Kevlar Armoured Version of the School of Rugby Rules Football" came to exist...

An aviation source said last night: "G-CBME may look like a little old Cessna with a single propeller but it is anything but. It is little, it is old, it is a Cessna, and it has a single propeller. So much for the powers of observation of the 'aviation source'.
"It has a 100,000 engine which operates on jet fuel. As Outlaw says, it's a diesel engine.

"This is very unusual and means that the plane is able to fly much more quietly which obviously does not alert people on the ground so much to its presence. It also has 50,000 worth of specialist equipment on board. It has been deliberately modified so it looks like a little sight-seeing pleasure plane but it is equipped for some of the best surveillance operations in Britain." 50,000 worth of specialist hardware = two headsets, two nav/com radios, and a GPS. And a Kodak instamatic camera. That would add up close to 50,000 I reckon... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

'Little sight-seeing plane' = cheap and functional aircraft. You're hardly likely to take a Beech Baron for this role when a C172 will do the same job for a fraction of the price...

it's football naab, hush.

As for the plane...

what a wate of time. If you wanna see tactics of Manchester united, watching them when they are actually playing might be an idea.

I would target the chavs first. I hate chavs a lot more than Man Utd, I have mates that are Man Utd fans and they are fairly good folk but I've never met a chav that I have liked (in fact I feel a cold hatred for them).

Given the choice, I would go after the chavs first, drop the "ordnance" on them and ruin their stupid chavy tracksuits, reload at Westminister (lots of BS there) and go after Old Trafford. If there is bad weather over the target I would either go after Stamford Bridge or Simon Cowell's house.

I would only target Old Trafford (or Man Utd players) with manure, as you can see from my sig I'm a fan of The Smiths (as well as Oasis and Joy Division) so I don't have anything against the rest of Manchester. Besides the airfield where I start my flight training later this year (hopefully) is in Manchester (Barton Aerodrome).

I've seen some sites about chavs and they seem to rate somewhere around Islamic terrorists,
perhaps even lower on the list in Britain. We got a bunch of that here as well and some of
the 'entertainment' media talk the 'bling' terms like it's cool. Give it time, hey?

And I do mean wow!, how bad so many Brits do hate the chavs!

It is with good reason that British people hate chavs, all they do is fight and generally cause trouble. One of my friends got put into hospital because five lads beat him up and gave him a cracked rib and broken nose, it didn't suprise me that the lads who did it were chavs who had been drinking (and possibly smoking something) and had set on him because "they didn't like the look of him" http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif.
The scumbags who did it were identified and convicted because one of them filmed the lot on his mobile phone.

Here is an example of what chavs do and I'm glad to say that the pillock who calls himself "the happy slapper" gets his comeuppance.
