Well it took me a while to get things running on all cylinders but let me say that the game is incredible . . the atmospherics are fantastic, often photorealistic, and framerates even in 18 plane dogfight are great. Also, placing aircraft on the deck of the carriers in the Mission Dev. is really great. Great job developers.

To folks having problems, keep trying . . its worth it. If you are running JUST PF on 2.6 Gigs, 9800 radeon with crappy soundcard, I had good luck (after MANY different attempts, numerous reloads and reboots) with uninstalling MS SP2, then updating my BIOS/board drivers, then clean install of OMEGA radeon 4.12, then the game, then patch 3.01, then 3.02 common, then the other 3.o2 patch. Im using Open GL, 1200 X 1600 X 32, All effects on high/perfect, and the settings recommended by PF_coastie at http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=49310655&m=4501076732
