No, you can also play the game perfectly with a gamepad or even the keyboard, joysticks are overrated anyway!

BTW, the most über fighter in 4.07(1) is the Ki27, be sure!

The Storch is quite good for that I've heard. You have to pilot it from the outside, though, because the cockpit is not modelled. HTH & happy airkills http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Wow I can't believe it....Hristo! The Voldemort of Warclouds....."he who shall not be named!"

You know Teamspeak was never the same without Hristo listening on the opposition channel, and everyone being unable to find out how his Mystical powers helped him locate the enemy! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

What you been doing Hristo? Did it involve a baseball against the cooler wall, or has Sparks decided to take the straight jacket off? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I'd recommend the Betty for online play...we may have a chance to kill you then!

Where do you fly now?

Cheers, MP.

LOL, some issues are still hot after all this time, I'm flattered http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Sadly, I'm too busy to play anything on a computer (too much computer time at my job already). Meanwhile, I've been into airsoft heavily, quite nice change of pace and recommended as a fitness variant for all those computer kids.

Thanks for welcomebacks, but sorry to dissapoint you - I don't plan to get back until BoB, hardly sooner. Will be lurking around here though http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

What's the talk lately ? I see many new names, some old too. Is P-38Late still as overmodelled ? Did they fix the 190 ? Did Aerial Target learn to fly ? Is P-51 still too tough ? Ploughman still denying historical facts ? So many questions....

Gloster Gladiator. You'll outturn anything and can catch a faster opponent in a turn and hopefully do some damage. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Aerial Target shone briefly but brightly in terms of rabid P-38 fan-boyism. After approximately 1 month of feverish interest he collapsed, a broken man, when he realised his vision of sweeping the online skies clean in his Lightning was not working out as his books had promised.

Dude, your WC TS antic is now legendary http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

If you haven't flown since 4.xxm then you've got some serious catching up to do. The current flight moddel is more or less a beta for BOB ( now renamed Storm of War {SoW}).....Oleg's added some new flight effects (better torque, ground handeling yadda yadda)....The P51 isn't the uber machine it was in 3.xx (patches 4.01-4.03 did horrific things to a great deal of the US/UK fighter inventory...long story....much whining...most of it warranted)....FW hasn't been fixed (i'm assuming u mean the Revi gunsight bar), however Oleg has given us a boosted A5 which can substitute for a non-Jabo FW Anton. Several new Japanese fighters have been added that are actually competitive (Jack/George).

I want you to google "Lerche" and tell me what u think

It surely is a lot better exercise to run around whole day in the woods, trying to shoot other folks and stay "alive", rather than to sit in front of your monitor, eh ? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

In skirmishes I participated in, most people were 25+, several being active police officers, some with war experience etc. Alomost none under age of 20. It usually lasted throughout the day, in quite large fields (the largest terrain we used was some 5x5km army training field, which we were allowed to use for one day ). Quite challenging, I must say.
