I just finished the game about 5 minutes ago, and all I can say is: BLOODY HELL! My mind is yet again blown by Ubisoft. Like many of you, I have no words. There are no words. I just figured I would start a thread to discuss the ending of the game, and where AC will go next. I'll start. What did you guys think of it? Where do you think we'll go next? Where do you think the Assassin's are now? Could it be that strange place in New York in the coordinates from Da Vinci Disappearance? Discuss! h and one more thing... THANK YOU TO EVERYBODY AT UBISOFT! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif

Just finally finished it myself too (I'm such a silly completist http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif) and all I have to say right now is:

I'll discuss this when I'm ready. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Btw, absolutely awesome job Ubisoft! I absolutely loved every moment of this game.

Btw, does anyone know what the last 2 animus gates on the island are for? Did I miss something or is this something that's going to be released in DLC?

One question for those interested in it. Also, be patient, since this will probably be complicated...

- - - -

After having played Assassin's Creed 2, I always assumed that the PoE that Rodrigo recovered from Cyprus was the ONE and the SAME Alta´r possessed.

Now after having finished Revelations, I suddenly realize this is not the case. Now these are the things I wonder...

- Was the PoE in Alta´r's Great Library indeed recovered by the templars and destroyed in the Denver accident, as Lucy mentioned it?
- If Rodrigo recovered ANOTHER PoE, where did it come from? Where was it? Who did it belong to?

- - - -

After Brotherhood, this kept me nagging at me having in mind what Lucy had said and the fact that Alta´r's PoE was in Rome after all, but in the end, I'm glad to see they were able to sort things out.

If you had both the time and patience to read this far and understand what I've written, grazie. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

The ending made perfect sense and besides telling Desmond where to go barely told us anything haha. I loved it though. Major detail. The burning of the baby was a bit much for nothing.

A bit sad Lucy is gone. But the game was fantastic. Beyond fantastic. I'm sure those extra gates will be DLC or something.

Not really. Babies usually are a symbol of both hope and the future. The First Civilization, after that solar flare or whatever, had neither.

Why did Ezio take his hidden blade and hookblade off?

And Ezio had to leave with Sofia and had to have a kid with her or Desmond would not have been born right?

He took them off to show that his days as an assassin was over, and he would no longer need them.

Desmond's Ancestry Explained (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46FRp7dIn80) To symbolize that he's leaving the order also watch embers. The girl and her baby were probably eve. Those 2 extra memory pillars are broken in the game but when you complete it there fixed? also will Desmond maybe kill Juno for killing Lucy. I think as soon as he gets his chance he will take it. Making it more possible for the world to end. I just can't wait until AC3 hopefully its bigger then AC2 and is half Desmond half Ancestor

To show that he was ready to leave the Assassin life, kinda like when he said "I have seen enough already" when he saw the apple.

How do you watch Embers? I got the signature edition but didn't see embers anywhere. Is it on the same disk?

It should be on a separate disk that came with the game (and it's not in the game case).

Well, at least NOW we know it wasn't a mistake all along. I need to just STOP assuming too much about the series I guess.

I think we all do. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
If these games have shown us one thing it's that anything is possible.

But the strange thing is that when Desmond wakes up from his coma and talks to the others that none of them seem to care that he killed Lucy at the end of brotherhood when Juno took control of his body with the apple

Also embers can be found on YouTube now, just look for the video that goes for 20 minutes and you have the right one, their may be some hints on AC3 in it aswell like The Shao Jun character

Keep in mind that some time seems to have passed between Lucy's death and Desmond's awakening. Consider (for example) what Ezio says following Yusuf's death: Mourning is a luxury our enemies don't allow us. In this case, Desmond is the primary concern, as he has a key part to play in the conflict. I suspect now that he's awake and assuming that Lucy is truly dead, we're bound to hear more on the subject from Will/Sean/Rebecca.
