Hi,

I'm upgrading my rig (P4 1.5 GHZ, 256 MB RIMM, Intel AGP4xMobo) to a something like this P4 3.4 GHz, 1 Gb RAM, new AGP8x Mobo. As I have a 10 months old MSI5900XT AGP 8x, and I have not yet enjoyed it cause my low mem and AGP4x, I'd don't like to change it now.

But I have 2 questions:

- RAM: DDR or DDR2. Some people say DDR2 is equal or even slower than DDR and more expensive. I don't know. Which do you recommend me? And is Kingston fine for OCing?

- Mobo: For now I'm thinking starting in OC world with this mobo in 6 months, so as I'm a total ignorant of OCing, I would like to know what is your advice in this matter. Abit, Asus, Msi,...?

I hope I'll can play FB/PF smoothly then...

Thank you very much!

This site is a good place to start. Always helped me catch up on the new technology when I'm ready to buy a new component.
