I have had the stock junk packs silenced for years now. Is there something good out there by chance? Is any one else having trouble with M4T?

Can't help with the speechpack, but as for M4T, we're migrating to a new server tris weekend. Here's the link to the announcement thread:

Thanks Beebop for the info on M4T, glad to hear it will be back up. Now for a good US speech pack, is there one out there guys? How about US "chatter" packs?

I always thought that the speech from CFS1 was very good both for the USAAF and the RAF. It would be cool if someone converted these.

I would do it if I knew how. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/typing.gif

What's wrong with the default US speech? You guys really sound that funny, only not realizing nor admitting it... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

M4T, Flying Legends and Netwings have an alternative U.S. speech pack, not sure of differences between them, if any. I use the Netwings one.

I like it. Maybe 'a change is as good as a rest' after a few years of listening to the same old stuff. Back up your original and give it a go.

Get the excellent Russian female speech pack from M4T while you're at it.

I use the radio files too...adds to the immersion for me, particularly the Pacific one.

Thanks, Ill go looking there and see what I can dig up, thanks. Yea, a nice change is what I was after. The radio files sound very promising too!
BTW M4T is back up again, yay!

Well I dl'd the US pack and most of the ww2 radio packs from M4T and they were exactly what the doctor ordered. Anyone who needs a pick me up for IL2 should highly consider these enhancements. Go to Radio chatter and music here: http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&c=1

I also use this this little utility, and it's expansion packs. Enables you to change background music in flight, in random order. Just drop your faves into the relevant files. Good stuff.
