Saitek Independent Flight Sim LCDs
Apparently to go with the other new stuff. Wonder if it will work with IL-2?

Have you seen the new Saitek yoke.
http://www.flightstore.co.uk/saitek_pro_flight_yoke_thr...pt_l2.249.dept_l3.0/ (http://www.flightstore.co.uk/saitek_pro_flight_yoke_throttle_system_pre_order_s pecial_offer_delivery_october.pilot.supplies/use.id.5.item_id.2985.dept.133.dept_l2.249.dept_l3 .0/)

It looks the mutts nuts, it is looking like CH may no longer be top dog for flight sim hardware.

Too bad nobody will do a force-feedback yoke. I'd never give up my faithful Microsoft Sidewinder 2 stash for a yoke without FF.

LOL - yeah you can spend $99 a piece for some crappy little lcd's or $200 for a very nice 19" lcd and use Crash_Moses's or Sids FREE gauges and UDPSpeed (also free) and have a pit full of beautiful gauges http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I rather have the little ones. No desire to take up that much space.

S!

Hi p-11cAce, I wonder how you did all this setting. What you mean with "for free"?? Do you have any web sites with this stuff?? Thanks in advance......

there's more on other pages in thread particularly recently.

it's all totally free community made stuff, just like missions etc.

Looks complicated but is VERY SIMPLE. I do all my testing with an ancient laptop and a cheap linksys router. If you read through the devicelink posts you will be up and running in just a few minutes. Two quick things that will save you tons of heartache-
1. You can run UDPSpeed on a really crappy computer but it MUST be running windows XP.
2. Be sure and start UDPSpeed before 1946 or you will get a memory error message.

I cannot reccomend this software enough - it revolutionized my approach to my pit and gave me what I dreamed about for a fraction of the cost. To have an equivalent pit using simkit gauges would have cost thousands of $$$.
