Well, I am glad its a simulator rather than really hunting, but just like the real thing where is the contest between an animal and a man with a high powered highly accurate rifle?

I would love to be able to hunt the hunters, take their guns and silly big knives off of 'em and then let the shooting commence. I am sure they would love every minute of it and we would all be laughing our heads off as their heads get blown off.

Farran, Very poorly spoken from a position of ignorance. Using the firearm is the easy part. Getting to that point, legally, is one of skill and a certain amount of luck. As to your mentioning of hunting hunters, stop the trolling.

Sabre - You are totally wrong on both counts.
I have hunted myself, once upon a time.
I am not trolling, merely stating my opinion, which I believe I am entitled to and to which I will be sticking.

So you really believe that people should hunt people who hunt. Dude you should get back on your meds or maybe check back into the psych ward. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

Spoken like someone who has very little knowledge of hunting or nature for that matter. Silly big knives? I won't ask, please don't tell.

Some idiots decided that hunting is cruel to animals so they pushed legislation to release COYOTES in New York State, decades ago. Thanks to the weather change, the vicious basterds multiplied and moved up north. They've all but wiped out the deer even in northern Maine and have moved into Canada.
Apparently it's not cruel for a deer to be chased down by a pack of ravening canines and die being chewed to death after being wounded and bleeding YET to be shot and die quickly or instantly IS cruel! Apparently fawns and yearlings being taken down by the same pack hunters both day and night is okay since it's 'natural' even though introducing coyotes to a place where they don't belong has caused a total disaster for the deer population. Human hunters don't go after the young and they're not supposed to hunt at night, coyotes give the deer no rest and no quarter.

F-ing MORON 'activists' did that. "I wish I could force them to live outdoors without clothes or fire or tools of any kind with pack predators killing them off one by one just so they can know what cruelty is. The ones that survive can go BLOG about it."

Humans as hunters have been far less damaging to wildlife than any of roads & vehicles, farms and urbanization. Transplanting predators foreign to the region has in case after case known for centuries been worse than all of the others except for over-hunting before hunting regulations were put in place and enforced. The list of ecologic disasters due to the introduction of foreign species is long and clear, yet whenever you get enough idiots playing pressure group there's another about to happen.
And if you don't introduce predators and stop the hunting you have animals starving from overpopulation which is almost as bad. There's balances to be kept. Monitoring the herds and rationing hunting licenses is about the cleanest way to regulate the populations there is. Hunting is about harvesting, not some kind of sport where the only goal is to kill and leave a dead carcass. If you don't take the meat and hide and whatever else can be used then you shouldn't be hunting at all. A real hunter has enough respect for the life taken to not waste what is killed. It's not some kind of game with big guns and silly knives. The people who do that are mental, and that includes varminters who use loads powerful enough to turn a rockchuck into a pink cloud. Hell, I know people who eat squirrel and stretch their family budget that way. Waste not, want not, and respect the world around you. There's been too much disrespect and too much waste for too long.

NO hunting since ever one animal preyed on another has ever been "Fair". That's because it's not a ---damn Game!

Nature is the cruelest thing on earth far worse than anything man could do.

However that doesnt mean we cant try and help out where we can and make things better.

Huntings OK as long as they try their hardest for a humane kill and dont blast away at any old thing.

I used to hunt rabbits and magpies with powerful Air Rifles, I know for a fact that you cant help the odd stray shot, but I always tried hard to get a headshot and the instant kill.

Once I accidently got a rabbit in the shoulder and it ran down its burrow. I could hear it 'crying' and 'screaming' down there, and it put me off hunting for ever.

I know go target shooting and would maybe have a shot at a magpie (they are cruel nasty things, raiding birds nests for chicks and killing baby rabbits by pecking their heads in), but I no longer go out 'strictly to hunt'.

Where's Billy ??
Aren't we supposed to be beyond the hunter-killer thing.. unless of course we go to war, then everything is 'collateral damage'...
