Obviously, the best way thing to do is to avoid a stall. But once your in one, what can you do to get out?

the best way to get out of stall is to deflect the rudder in the opposite direction of the stall ex(if the plane is stalling to the left, put the rudder to the right) and never move the airlerons or you can get in a flat stall, and this one is impossible to get out...also, work with the throttle, reducing is good too.

Push the stick forward to break the stall.

When you're already spinning, get your engine in idle and apply counter-rudder.

As rotation stops, release rudder-force and get your stick into neutral position, to regain speed.

When sufficient speed is achieved, recover gently (try to not stall again).

I cut the throttle , drop the flaps ,push rudder against the spin,and push down on the nose and then if I'm still spinning I drop the gear also. I think it makes alot of drag and slow you down a little and then you max the engine to full and push down and out

Yea if you get in a flat spin in a p-39 your pretty screwed unless your up high so just bail if your below like 8,000 feet

like the others stated...
throttle off, push stick forward, counter rudder.
Once the nose stays down and you start picking up speed, you can ease up the throttle and pull out.

For the 39/63... do the following..
throttle off and counter rudder...
the hard thing with the flat spin in the 39/63 is to get the nose down. The best way to get the nose down is to rock the aircraft.
It will be bobbing a bit by itself, so start moving the stick with the motion of the aircraft as is bobs.. kind of "rocking" the aircraft...
eventually you will get the nose to drop.
After that its just about picking up the airspeed to pull out.
This takes a little longer than a regular stall, so make sure you have some altitude. If not, hit the silk.

GA, the IL-2 Manual you have with the sim clearly shows how to recover from a stall and a spin. Very clear, very straightforward. There is a lot of useful stuff in it.

well I power off, centralise everything, then opposite rudder..... as it recovers add power and pull up gently..........

Stall is when wing angle of attack reaches and passes critical angle. You still have lift but
also high drag and you still have a small measure of control with most planes.

Spin is total departure from flight with one wing stalling first which starts the spin off.

Catch either one early and just letting up on the stick should fix it.

Why to know the difference is so effing important is that you can be just into stall and
bleeding speed badly and not know you need to loosen up because you're not spinning.
Funny how so many that can't get it straight have posted time and time again about speed bleed
that they are causing, which of course they call an FM problem!

Wake T-F Up! If you're bleeding badly then you are most completely likely stalled and getting
into shape for a spin. If you knew when you hit the stall then you'd about never spin. You
want to spin quick then just fly into stall with some slip and you can complain about that.
But oh, no... concentrate on recovery!
