I've lived in Montreal my entire life and I find it funny how AC2 is developed in Ubisoft Montreal. In all honesty, I'm probably twenty minutes away from the building yet I've never visited it.

So just curious, anyone else on the forums from Montreal?

I live in Ontario.

If I went to Montreal, i'd probably try to get into the building to meet Patrice only to be horribly denied!

Haha.

My friend always goes to Mont Tremblau (I know I spelled that BAD.) and says it's beautiful during the summer.

How do you people cope with living in the city of the assassioun? Have you not feelings of wanting to rush into the dev building, randomly stabbing people with a plastic hidden blade going "I want the apple."?

Did anybody go "Jade-hunting" over there?

What? Jade Raymond transferred to Ubisoft Toronto?

I'm leaving! I never even liked Assassin's Creed!

Completely offtopic:
I didn't even know. Goes to show how much I took interest.

Note to Jade: I'm not bashing you. Don't worry. I acknowledge your superscripting-and-producing skills because I have played sims online. I just wasn't very fond of the fact they put you out in every interview, and there weren't that many interviews with the rest of the team. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I like how the whole team gets to talk this time around, from Laura to Yves to Patrice.. I think Patrice should do interviews in French btw. He always comes off more insecure when speaking English, and he's basically a runaway when speaking french.

Question to Montrealers:
What language is spoken most? English or French? Or Frenglish?

Well... In 2006, French was the most spoken languages, than other languages (Spanish, asian languages (I feel dump), Italian, etc.), and English...

French is the only official language of the city, but English is well-spoken. In some part of the town, it is hard to be serve in French, while in other parts it is hard to be serve in English.

French is my mother tongue and I mainly speak French. However, spending a lot of time on Internet, I read as much in English as I read in French...About the same ratio for writting (well... I might write a little bit more since I'm at the university (French, of course!)

EDIT : (BTW, I like the interview with Patrice... His English is funny)

Yeah, it depends where you're from. Like where I am everyone speaks English, other areas it's pure French and no one speaks English. But no matter where you are, by law, all restaurants, signs, etc. must be in French (or if there is English it must be smaller than the French text).

Lol, it's a bit ridiculous though, like for example KFC here is officially called PFK (Poulet Frit Kentucky).
