when i try to throttle the baby down..it doesn't want to idle down below say 2500 rpm or below. IS this a bug?

Yup, noticed it too. You do seem to lose thrust though....not a sound bug?

The P-47 uses a constant speed prop so it will try to maintain maximum rpms at 100% prop pitch. Prop pitch = rpm settings. 0% is minimum rpms and 100% is max rpms. Did you decrease the prop pitch setting along with the throttle?

Try this.....remap the throttle control to the prop pitch control and map your increase and decrease power controls to two keys that are side by side on your keyboard.
You still have to use the power controls in conjunction with the prop but I find this setup to be helpful with planes that have a constant speed prop.
Hope this is helpful to you

I noticed that too ... also happens with the I-16 (only planes Ive noticed so far). Sometimes it takes forever .. but the throttle does eventually drop. Almost like the throttle doesn't even work.

You can also fix it by having "complex engine management off" I think. Oops I'm gonna get pwnd for not using full real/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
