Does anyone know what this yellow pipe is in the cockpit of the 109? I shot this picture a few weeks ago at the Air & Space Museum in Washington DC.

I have it labelled as the drop tank fuel pipe.

Fuel line. In some models, there was a section of glass or clear tubing, allowing the pilot to see for himself that there was fuel flowing to the engine--of course, I can't help but think that it might not be a plus if that line were severed by enemy bullets...

Thanks! I thought it might have been a line to the pilot's oxygen regulator.
