With all the new AMAZING looking cockpit models (like the Me110 I saw today), it kinda puts the 109 Cockpit at a "lower level".

I don't mean to critisize he current models, but the details in the 109, don't nearly seems a detailed and rich as some of the other planes.

is that just me?

Others have said the same but I find the 109 pits just fine myself. A few rough areas maybe compaired to the most recent stuff...even so, hardly worth noting.

Go play Aces Over Europe, a true classic WWII simulator, and come back and you will never complain about graphics again http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

wish I could just for the heck of it. But you have to install windows 95 to do that! It had a dos OS file the game needs to run and was removed in Win98. Liked some of the misions. like catching 262's on the ground in an airfiled attack or the giant furball over a city, defening a lost wounded B-17 and escorting it to safety.

I`d like a revi in any DE plane that lines up like the E series 109. From the G2 up the revi is misaligned too far to the left to be used properly in the expanded/floating revi view /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I would like to see the clipping of the wings fixed from in cockpitview in some of the birds 109 he111 and a couple others. I think the 109 cockpits are some of the better ones in the game. the mig3's look pretty bad

Ubi definitely wont be. At this late stage I doubt 1C:Maddox will either /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif , at least not in this sim.

He's talking about the full block that forms your gun sight.

Revi is a german abreviation, which was officially used.
It stands for Reflexiv or Reflexions Visier which means reflection gunsight.

hehe nope not drunk.......should work on it though /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Look at the 109 gunsite in the offset view on the 109 E and F series and compare to the G2 and up. Also compare to the 190...you'll understand what I mean. The gunsight is too far off set in the left most position to be used effectivly IMO.

As for my flying it's getting worse not better...my hands are shot and I can manage about 10 mins then I have to break for a bit...if not it's too painful from swelling to play.... alot of typing does this also so I'm getting more and more limited..... I could always play checkers with my elbows I guess /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
