I found this on YouTube...it could be that someone posted this already, but I don't remember.

These people are claiming that THIS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmlk99ENutw) is being worked up on a beta version of "BoB SoW" for the opening battle clip on the final release.

If it has not been up here before I thought I would post a really skeptical "I don't think so"...before the conspiracy threaders got hold of it(lol). http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

"Hello, we are thinking of this for the opening sequence for the upcoming game. Based on recreation of famous dogfight from Hendon BoB simulator all should recognise. Mission created in SoW beta 2.1 and directed by DHAnimations crew. Enjoy, and pls comment - S!"

LOL, according to Oleg, it's not even in beta yet.

Excellent sounds though.

What's the point in doing something like that? I mean, taking some guy's CGI animation and posting it as a fake promo video of another thing. Where's the fun? I don't get it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

This is very old CGI vid, Mystery Chanel rip off and nothing to do with IL2 except for some of the sound.

Kinda looks like BoP with the tracers and smoke effects from what I have seen.

Rubbish. The words don`t quite make sense, like when he says "Ceasefire! Attacking friendly!" No. He`s attacking the Hurricane. Of course the audio is ripped from IL2. And it is a rip off of another better clip with spitfires that I saw once which was like an instructional clip. Of course, it would be 1940 too, not 1939 as already pointed out.

Pointless.

SOW will look better.

Suggest a visit to the Dog House Animations site at www.dhanimations.com (http://www.dhanimations.com)
Appears to be a genuine company, probably touting for work from the, (yet to be named), publisher of SoW BoB. See their catalogue there. They asked for comment. Perhaps need to remind them that BoB took place in 1940 as previously observed.

lol, its true with the voices.
i guess some non german speaking people just choose something german the thought sounded cool without thinking of what it really meant.

lol... Reminds me of a half-baked movie we saw a couple weeks ago. (30,000 leagues under the sea, or something like that... Just another poorly done Sci-fi channel movie, really) There were so many technical inaccuracies that my dad, a retired Commander, couldn't stop laughing. Heck, even I noticed a lot of glaring mistakes. (One of them was substituting what looked like a WWII Battleship - not sure which, to be honest - for the USS Abraham Lincoln)

Ignorance is fun. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

Appears to be a genuine company

Appears to be a genuine student or hobbyist trying to get his first contract work with some of the usual bluffing.

Seen hundreds of sites like that and most were better (still no "genuine companies" though)

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gifThe gunfire and sounds looked awful in my opinion. Now where have i seen this before,oh Duxford in the showscan simulator about 20 years ago.Shame this new lot could'nt do something abit more more original.

I prefer Tochys stuff...no one seems to have equaled the "quality" he is able to achieve in his animations.
