I know it's a common question, but I just don't know enough of the PF to be able to make a good choise. Of course I can give them all a try, but that will take so much time.

-I would like to fly a good BnZ plane, but not the "uber" BnZ plane. For intance in FB AEP I used to fly the P-47 (or P-40), because It's good BnZ plane, but it isn't the best plane around. Can anybody point out some good pacific theatre BnZ (preferably Allied) planes which are usable but not TOO good?

many thanks in advance.

Bah! The P47 is the uber BnZ plane :P and walks all over the IJN and IJA opposition!

The Corsair is pretty good for BnZ as is the Hellcat. Using the Beaufighter against early Japanese planes in a BnZ style is great fun!

I still am flying the P-40, it's a very nice plane and I am enjoying the older models (P-40, B, C, and the Hawk versions) very much. But I also like to fly a naval airplane.

Thanks for the advice!
