Hi Oleg,

With the exciting news about new western front maps and new aircraft, and your new project, can we expect to see any level of integration between Battlefield Command and IL-2 FB?

Correct me if I am wrong, doesn't Battlefield Command use IL-2 FB's graphics engine?

I think that it is a logical move to integrate the two as it would, for the first time as far as I am concerned, go some way toward simulating a virtual battlefield.

I hope that, one day, we will be able to enjoy flying IL-2 FB whilst at the same time having the opportunity to take part in ground-battles.

Regards,
Matt.

That does appear to be the plan, judging from the Spanish interiew...

The question is whether a Naval sim would be added to give total coverage?

If you think about the already beautifully modelled ships, all we'd need are some 'bridges' for the captain to sail from and a few gunnery stations.

Personally I like the idea of patrolling in a PT boat up river, attacking ground and air targets.

Might get a bit boring though, depending upon the scenery /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
