Chuck, just a random thought. A few days ago, I saw a modelling magazine which featured the Ki-84 in Nationalist Chinese livery for the post-WW2 Chinese Civil War.

How realistic would a sequel to your Flying Tigers campaign be wherein some hard-bitten USAAF vets fly for General Chiang against Mao in 46, using the Ki-84?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The Nationalist Chinese AF also had Ki61s, Ki43s, various IJAAF training and liason aircraft, and P51s as well.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
