Hi all

Was having a jaunt earlier in the spit and Ki61. I noticed they both have a tendency to roll to the left slightly in flight.

I thought I'd correct it with a bit of trim but nothing seems to happen.

Do the Spit and KI not have the ability to trim ailerons? Elevator trim seem to work just fine.

Can't speak to the Spitfire yet the Ki-61 ONLY had elevator trim...not rudder or ailerons....Quite simply you get it to X speed at Y throttle and PropPitch to find where it trims out (cruise)...Or compensate.

How it was done r/l....

Use rudder trim on spitfire. On Ki-61 I don't think there is one... You can still use . and , keys for a rough rudder trimming on any plane.

ah!

Didn't think about using the rudder to trim - in fact I don't have any keys mapped for it as I thought it would be pretty much redundant http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Thanks for info guys.
