This site contains some detailed information about ejections from He-219 aircraft as well as some others.

http://www.ejection-history.org.uk/PROJECT/YEAR_Pages/1944.htm

The Swedish also developed ejection seats during WWII:

The English writer Samuel Johnson observed that "when a man knows he is to be hanged it concentrates the mind wonderfully."

ps:
I've found another one,where we can see an IL2 shot down by flak,then from 2'41" a very very good WWII footage with 109Gs and FW190s while:

-In maintenance
-In rearming
-Seeing pilots going urgely into their cockpits + taking-off
-Some combat actions.

=> Eastern Front 1943 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyfkMbN5EmE&mode=related&search=Luftwaffe) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

BTW,Karost i think the 30mm gun sounds we have in game are enough correct,when comparing to the real ones.Especially the MK103 which makes a sound that seems to come from HELL http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Great film shots of the Me-262 flying over the mountains. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

It would be Mint if some movie studio made a realistic WWII air flic with some of the War Bird's that have been put back into air recently.

Now how are they going to record anything but ambient cockpit noises in the 1940's. The sounds of battle are about as real as the dubbed in fighter gun camera footage showing the "gunners" making kills. Whens the last time you saw a bomber chasing a fighter with a camera and it's gunners pounding him with concentrated gunfire from directly behind, because that's exactly what I'm seeing.

Not to mention the film maker having access to the inner working of both sides during a war. Sorry, but not a convincing argument.

There is a sound clip of a static Mk-108 being bench fired with a four round burst somewhere on the net, it's actually fairly close with the ingame external sound.
