Anyone know how to take off from the carrier?
I start the engine and add full throttle, down the flap and the plane still stays on the deck. I toggle B key but there is no response. Any advice? Is it a technical problem?

Chocks. (set key for them in controls)

Why doesn't anybody read the manual or readme?

You should really read the manual...when you spawn on a CV your chocks are in...need to go into controls and set a key for toggling your chocks...once you do this u should be all set...lot's of other good tips in the manual and the Readme file that comes with the sim http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Ah, yes. The old chocks problem.

Actually, and I don't know if this is actually "legal-type procedure" but I find the chocks quite helpful in taking off. I like to run the engine up to 100%, with chocks still in place, stand on the brakes and then give the chocks away. Come off the brakes and you take off from the deck with no problems. Was this done or would it have been impossible the pull the chocks with the plane straining against them?
