understand from the view you all see, i have removed the link. i will put up one soon of them chasing the helo. (most sat around tonight http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif only 2 or three got involved tonight)

i CLEARLY did not REALLY look at the original heading, my wording and the link, and how it all looks to others....and how i edited, one only got to see "the cats fleeing" meant to be like that, because all the cats took turns on it too! (but i will admit some of the scenes,, the cat/s isnt even paying attention to the helo...it just looks like it the way i got it on tape (like teh pastel tabby that hops under the table..on some containers..she didnt even care it was there. but it LOOKS like i flew over,it was scared and jumped. camera, caat and helo, all converged at once, and i used it.

my gesture was "want a cheap easy flying toy that is "pet safe" and can take some abuse ...as compared to a true "R/C" aircraft (which is NOT SAFE, pet friendly, or can take a lot of abuse!!!) and about getting a cat, meaning maybe you should have a pet to share some fun with.

did NOT intend it to be anything like "lets get a cat, or whatever we can find, and go chop it up". not the case by any means.

more like a flying version of BALDIE JR's film "chase the cat/cat chases me..chase the cat...cat chases me.."

" P.C." P.E.T.A. friendly one
but i was holding the camera, and flying at the same time. in most scenes so i do cuss at em a time or two. cause they kept knockin it over http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

the "PETA" version.. :P

here is the "offensive version" which is the same cats that was ATTACKING it from earlier... (i think the reson why it looks "HORRIBLE/dispicable" is because in part due to the heavier music, and boosted sound, so the engine SOUNDS like it could chop a human skull in half. (and the cats running this time ..instead of attacking. i too would understand the concern. in all actuality, the blade, and motor are meant to fail, the least bit snagged. the rotors are held into shaft by some friction. over come that force, the shaft will spin, but the rotors will not,(towards end of first video, you will hear motor spool up, but rotors stay in place, then i walk over to re-attach it.) BUT if the MOTOR feels force, it too, will STOP, to prevent any damage to itself.z (again you see /hear this, and you will here me "clicking" on the controls, but no action will happen until after 7-10 seconds. before it tries again)

I am guessing by the way your cats don't seem too enthusiastic about chasing it that they have been hurt by those blades a few times!

someone go Wack that idiot.
if the Cats were Entusiastic then its ok but the way one of them walks away form the heli with the Tail down low makes me wanna... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

wonder how hard those blades punch?
might not be anything serius but imagine being that small.

yes i do..

but the differnce is, WE take care of them EVERYDAY day. you wont believe it, but you could come over right now....and not smell a "cat", catSH!T, or see cat fur. (if people come over the cats usally *but not always* hide...so you wont see them either! 2 cats every week are given a bath. its a lot of work, but they are our kids, (until my son is born, which means, i have to move a lot f cats in the next few months

oh man - I missed a cat-tastrophe? dammmit!

Reminds me of a book I read once...

101 uses for a stiff kitty

they make excellent backscratchers...not bad chimney sweeps either..doorstoppers...lots of good uses.

I swear people need to lighten up one time, buncha nancies.

anyways.. if yall want a cheap safe 10 minute flight time, go get a "pico-Z" (aka "HAVOC" by AirHogs, in the states ..same thing) cost 30 bucks ..(and less for the "imitations" that work just as well.)

Cats don't mind being "smacked" a bit when chasing "prey". If they did the wild ones would never eat. Hell, one of my cats once ate a wasp. Her whole face swelled up but the pain barely phased her.

My cats (5 in all) loved my two foam choppers so much they ate them. Of course, they weren't running at the time but they weren't scared of them at all. I was a little worried about them getting hit in the eye but, like good scrappers they keep their paws up and chin down at all times. A few times they would get a good swat and back off but they always came back.

Be careful of the "imitations". My first could only fly for about 45 seconds before the battery power dropped off so much it couldn't even get airborne. I wouldn't get a knock off. Also, do a google search on the company you are buying from if you mail-order it b/c both the website and the invoice said it was a "Pico-Z" but they sent me the garbage ones instead.

My cat is always jumping on the desk and standing right infront of the gunsight when I pull the trigger. And of course the FFB means it scares the **** out of them and they shoot off like a lawndart... Meanwhile I'm shooting like a lawndart 20 feet into the ground... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
