Canon EOS 350D with Canon 70.00-300.0mm lens at a focal length of 140.0mm shutter speed of 1/200 sec f/stop f/2.5 and aperture of f/25 for the Biplane............ the lens is the canon 70-300m IS lens which has Image stabilization........... does that help? the cockpit was with the standard zoom lens, i can provide details if required

Oh an I want the 400D now as that is a 10 mpixel camera as opposed to my 8 MP

That is one heck of a camera and one heck of a picture! Nice shot!!! I wish I had a picture like that of each version of each plane in that good of a quality.

Tx for report! U had to have quite high ASA value to be able to shoot with 1/200s and F25 (or, must have been that pic-stabilizer).

Do you maybe have any more pics of the biplane with aperture full open? Which plane is it actually? At first sight I thought it's tiger moth, but it's not.

Yeah, I'm considering 400D too http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/inlove.gif, but waiting for what nikons answer in this price-class will be (if any, besides their D70). The only thing that bothers me big time with 400D is that it (still) does not have spot-meter...

From TT1 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

It is Shot at 100 asa http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif the image stabilization make me forget I am using a zoom at all.......

It is hand held on the move as most shots are........... infact there is a recall on the lens for soft focusing, but as yet it is to go back..

Is it not a stampe? tail is wrong for a tiggy

you should pop over here and visit us TT2 after all you will learn a lot :0 I am after the 100mm Macro as we speak, cause i like taking phots of small creepy things......... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

for what its worth I cannot fault the camera.. what got me was the fact i could hand hold it and take aircraft shots and it would focus it too................ amazing, have a Sony DS 717 too which is the dogs parts..... but this just blows my mind and skills.............. I feel like I am learning so much and this is teaching me.......... I have had in their time some of Canons top cameras like the A1 but the fact you shoot in film then bin the results............ No longer the case you delete the dross and with the likes of photoshop you can soar...... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
