Just playing through the excellent Experten campaign from the mudmovers site....really immersive but am getting frustrated by 1 aspect of the game itself...not the campaign!

Have had a few situations where wingmen have claimed a kill after I've sent the plane spinning to the ground, knocked tail off etc. This is annoying and frustrating...is there any way to adjust this AI anomaly or any other suggestions?Sometimes this happening makes me so mad I'm almost tempted to shoot down my thieving wingmate...I'm not a great pilot so every kill gleaned is a bonus for me...and to have an ally take credit like this...makes this flyer frustrated!

On a related note...Was flying 1 mission when having managed to shoot down an enemy Rata...I got bounced by 3 Migs/Yaks or something...after a quick dogfight...in which I damaged 2 lightly with fast passes...1 hit ground as I tried to get on tail and other 2 collided....would/should these be credited as kills(If so is there a way to edit kill total in campaigns?)..or do they count as falling to an act of God?....

Cheers guys!

So long as you are the last person to shoot a plane, you get credit if it crashes.

It's extremely frustraing when you've done all the hard work and the enemy a\c is heading earthwards and an AI wingman pumps a few round into him and gets the kill.I also find it annoying when the AI a\c crashlands and the a\c is clearly unflyable but you still don't get the kill.

yup, is a bit annoying. Apparently AI takes a lot of code so maybe it's something we have to tolerate for a little while yet; I did some practice on a few He111s the other day. I got them all down but with one the fuel tank caught fire once it had crashed, the wing blew up (rather than off, hehe) but rest stayed untouched and still I didn't get the kill....

but it's another matter on-line (not happened to me on a DF server but on a team match I wouldn't care if someone else finished an opponent off, as long as the team gets the kill).
