I thought some might enjoy it...

You'll learn a lot about Gnome rotaries before the Spit turns up. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Thats beautiful. Quite a valuable piece of footage.

Did you notice too how even in real life there are micro stutters when they are in flight? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Fantastic video, Low_Flyer. Amazing to think how fast aero engine technology evolved in such a short space of time, from that rotary to the merlin.

Very interesting indeed, thanks for posting. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

This is what it feels like to be buzzed by a spitfire...

I wonder how the engine management will work in the WWI sim for the IL2 engine. Using magnetos as a throttle would prove challenging.

Neat video...thanks for the link! I guess he means it when he speaks of the "total loss" lubrication system...can you believe all the crud flyin' out the back of that thing (the Camel)in the air-to-air shots?

Very intersting clip; thanks for that.

Isn't the Camel tiny? and with no throttle; how did they fly in formation? and while the commentator says the camel was running flat out to keep with the Spit; the motor still sounded like it was running in "burst mode"!

Proof of the Spitfire's aphrodisiac qualities.
By the end of the clip, that guy was just gagging for it http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
