It's a high possibility.
With DX10 only being available on Vista and what have you.

I reckon they'd wanna use the DX with the potential to deliver what they've been raving about so, Vista only i believe.

Well you will be able to play AC on DX 9 and DX 10, so Vista wont be required

I see your point, but personnally i dont think it will be vista exclusive because graw 2 has a dx 9 version and dx 10 version and thats a ubi game...

Chances are that it won't be.
So far, there are only 2 games that are Vista exclusive (Halo 2 and Alan Wake), and Halo2 doesn't even fully utilize DX10.

The games that are coming out now which have DX10 capabilities are being released with DX9 compatibility as well. At the worst, that's what we'll see. Vista is less than 10% of the market right now. Ubisoft wouldn't be so stupid as to make this a Vista exclusive.

ShadowRun is also a Vista exlcusive besides the 360 version.

Yea, sorry I forgot about that.

Really?
I never actually played it...I saw some gameplay vids and read some reviews that made it seem like trash.

Yea it definitely got some crappy reviews, and a few people were angry about the creator always telling people how good his game is and that you just have to "Invest some time in it". I saw the ability to teleport and from that point I was hooked. Downloaded the demo since none of my stores had to where I could buy it, got addicted. Played the online demo 'till four in the morning. Next day I drove up to Best Buy (which is about an hour away from me) and picked it up there. I've been investing hour after hour into perfecting my character types.

Well I was planning on checking it out...but I didn't feel like buying Vista just to check out this game. I'm gonna give Vista a while before I consider it.

Wise choice. Same thing I'm doing actually, but also because I'm too cheap and don't want to spend 130$ (minimum I think)for a 'prettier' OS.

vista runs great and plays games just fine, even 64-bit version. i dont knows why anyone knocks it unless they have 1gb or less of ram and older components.
