If she's not big into planes, no. Don't get a gift for her that you'd like for yourself! Be completely selfless. Find out in some unique way what she wants, and get it for her discreetly.

She hates planes, she is just gonna have to suck it up and enjoy it!

We are still talking planes, right?
You may get her that plane but she may just keep it all for herself.
Remember when Homer got Marge a bowlingball?

Yeah....sharing the computer, you talking about ruining my flight time. I need all the practice I can get. Maybe I should get her a mop instead. Hows about a poll?

Goat,
just get her anything she wants, and thank God you're together. You see, my wife's birthday's coming up in two weeks. But I will not be able to even be with her, or kiss her and wish her all the best. Why? We live in different countries and stupid laws make it impossible for us to be together on that special day.

She lives in Bosnia and I live in Sweden and now we're (un)patiently waiting for all the paperwork to be done before we can be together. And no one knows when that'll be.

I hate all the people that keep us separated, if they only knew how it feels, for just one day, to be separated from someone you love more than yourself, and not for months on end like we have to, they'd change the way they work. The life simply hasn't got much meaning right now. Work and Il-2 is what keeps me from going insane.

Sorry 'bout the rant - needed to vent some emotions!

Get her a dozen roses, a bottle of wine, and dinner out too. Then she might just let you keep the Corsair. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Jasko, hope things workout soon for you both very soon. ~S!~

You should give your wife 48 hours of your life. Don't even look at the computer and go along with any ideas she has, walks, picnics, spas, movies, whatever.

That's probably the most valuable thing she can get if you're spending as much time as I do by the computer. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

You think a Corsair would do it for her? Maybe deep down, somewhere in her kinky soul, she yerns for two at the same time. Nothing like two Allisons to get a woman off. Get her the P-38.

Get her own computer, get her on internet. Amazing stuff out there for chicks. Then you can either Whine at her for spending too much time playing internet, or you can just play all the FB you want. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thanks, mate! I know all will be well, but after 6 months of waiting, life gets very empty. Nothing else really matters.

6 weeks out of 6 months of marriage, that's how long we've been together. I hate the stupid politicians, people who make stupid laws, and people who can't do their stupid jobs. When I ask "why is it taking so long, and how much longer do we have to wait", the answers are the same - "sorry, we can't answer you that, you'll just have to wait. Oh, and by the way, don't bother to call us any more - don't call us, we'll call you". What is a proper, law obidient guy to do?!?
