I'll vouch for it, it's my most flown FS2004 plane after the Captain Sim Legendary 707!

Why is it those MS fly games give my computer the stutters, but I can fly perfect online with excellent frames in IL2?
Over Flanders field was so bad even after I spent WEEKS tweaking I gave up.
The new one I got as a demo FS something or other, was a slide show, and yet I can crank in on a city online dogfight and do quite well....m'eh

What a pain, HD. I had a lousy motherboard in 2004-5 which totally screwed up some programs, but, fortunately, not IL-2 or FS9. Rome: Total War just died on it. Computers, yarggghhh. After the motherboard fried itself and I bought a new one, everything was great.

x850xt, abit IC7-g, 2 gigs of high end geil memory, baracuda drive,3.2 intel, audigy2; benches pretty decent
OFF was the kicker for me, man, I really wanted to fly those WWI planes, and on their website, was told that 25fps online was "decent"?!??! Gave me a headache.

was having similar probs with fsx , spent ages doing all the tweaks. then i came across this guide
http://www.flying-legends.net/boards/viewtopic.php?t=1382

its very long and involved and i put alot of the gains down to the defrag process, payware but very good.

worth a read at least?
