There was another thread on this recently. I'm waiting for someone to buy one and post a review.

Anybody see this thing in action?

When I hear it works for IL-2 I'll get the camera and whatever else I need for this. I really hate trying to do things with both hands at the same time.

Some people are coordinated, some are uncoordinated...I'm not far from having trouble with walking and chewing gum at the same time.

I'm going to give it a try this weekend...
I'll start with the demo and work out from their...
I'll post a little something about my progress...

I dont wear a hat, and dont care to glue dots to my head...
what is so hard about putting a radial arc on mouse software?
When you go to a gunner spot, use the hat and the mouse you get that sort of arc effect as you try to look further behind you...

I really don't understand the attraction some people have to this b-market stuff when the real thing is:
1. Fully supported, updated, and manufactured by a company with a great track record and longevity.
2. Plug and play- you take it out of the box, load the software, and forget about it.
3. Mature software - lots of sensible GUI, tweaking functions, and a large community of users if you get stuck.
4. Really not that expensive, and is very cheap if bought used.
Why re-invent the wheel?

I tried it with the demo, seemed to be pretty straightforward until I mapped the mouse to the x-axis and then the frame rate dropped below 1. I've no idea why.

Eventually I will probably buy it.
But at this time I have other expenses... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I can't find my webcam...I think a friend has it. (or brother). If anybody was curious about Cachya and IL2 1946...

I will be giving it a try http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
