and if u knew what polish our (Polish) pilots could do in those little planes...Polish pilots were among the best when it comes to manouver fight and from many doggfights they came out with smaller losses even though theu fought , let's say' with crazy bravery. There was a part of training on P11 with a small parachute - they had to dorop the chute and perform series of acrobatics so that they could end it up having the chute inbefore the pplane and photograph it.

To search for perfection
It's all very well
But to look for Heaven
Is to live here in Hell

Are you serious?

Sorry, mate. Not enough anti-freeze mixed with vodka in Ural mountains for me to try that

The poles were among the best fighter pilots in WW2, coming from an American, that's saying something. Besides, I think that the US Army should switch to AK-74 assault rifles, but because it's Soviet Design, we're afraid that we'll be ridiculed.

I liked the P.11 in IL2... That and the La-5 were the only planes I ever did well flying online in.

Too bad for someone who fell in love with the '39... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

And too bad I never spotted the "P.11-only" servers until shortly before they went out of fashion...
