I always wondered how "real" the ability to have each torpedo have a different solution in SH2, you could then fire torpedos at different targets almost simultaneously. It was handy in the first SH2 carrer mission...the 3 Polish destroyers.

Without going into a discussion of realism http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif, is this ability gone in SH3?

Thanks

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/1072.gif Never mind...I just remembered how I used to accomplish this in SH2. It was just a question of good positioning, getting the farthest of 3 targets "locked", then firing at this ship as soon as it's gyro angle was within good limits. I could then find victim #2, lock him up and watch the stopwatch on the #1 torpedo. When #1 and #2 torpedos where close, on the stopwatch I'd fire #2. So on for #3. In a perfect situation all 3 torpedos would impact on 3 different targets simultaneously. Getting hits on 2 I usually considered a success...all 3 a darn miracle!

This will be harder now, I think, because all torpedos show up on a seperate stopwatch, instead of the same one like in SH2...but I've only fired torpedos in the SH3 Academy and don't recall a stopwatch before firing? I could be wrong, however.

Anywho...never mind my semi-senior moment!
