Dear all fellow sim pilots,

I am brand new to flight simulation, but I feel I am learning the trade steadily. Pacific Fighters is my first sim, and I've fallen in love with it; I'm hoping for FB and AEP over Christmas. I can't say how absolutely and addictively immersed I am in this experience. My life is revolving around this series: flying, this forum, virtual cinema... all of it.

All I can safely say about this apparent copyright/trademark episode, is that it is very sad and I can only hope it comes to a quick and favorable conclusion for the community. Reading through the many posts in relation to it, I've seen many opposing view points and opinions. I've "experienced" (for lack of a better word), the sheer diversity of this community through this opposition. All sorts of walks of life, all sorts of different professions, all ages, all around the world, and all in it for the love of these planes and their wonderful history.

The certain divisions and adversity this community is facing(and I suppose I feel so accutely aware of these divisions for my newness and sudden relative immersion) have highlighted the wonderfulness in the wide-ranging attraction to this hobby. And this common bond really struck a chord with me and compelled me to write this sappy midnight post!

I just want to say thank you to everyone for making this community as dynamic and fun as it is, and that everyone have a Happy Holidays! This post is written in that seasonal spirit, and I hope I've communicated that in some small way to this flight sim family!

Jeez Eddie, I'm getting a little misty <ggg.> Thanks for the post and the spirit in which it was obviously written. It nice to have new guys around who just say "Wow! this is really cool!" Flight sims bring out intelligent and caring people in my experience. You would be surprised, previously I have asked a question in this forum and had an answer in five minutes. Of course I always preface my question with my standard salutation- "Fellow flight sim lunatics..." A little bit of humor goes a loooong way in the forum. All the best to you and yours, LongHorn

My eyes hurt too much to play anymore but I still enjoy the people who love CFS past time.
