I thought Panzerblitz was only on the F-9. IN which case I want an F-9 AND Panzerblitz (and its really just a A-9 so its not a big deal!).

I doubt it will ever happen, but another vote for the panzerblitz.

Yep, we do desperately need at least one rocket-propelled weapon on german side...

Bump.

I'm particulary annoyed by the fact that the VVS rockets on I-16s I-153s some La's and Migs apears to be AA only but they are use extensively on Tanks. And the OKL have the mighty 20mm nose canon on F2 or F4 for BT7's and other tanks... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

F-8 did have PB I, but F-9 was the first to receive PB mark II.. and offcourse, PB 2 was much better, than PB 1 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

For the love of all things good, I will never understand why we don't have a FW190F-9 Panzerblitz in this sim.

Especially since so many rocket loadouts has already been done.

Fw190 Panzerblitz ground attack aircraft were used in the defense of Berlin in numbers.

There are actually large numbers of loadout options for German aircraft that aren't in the sim.

HaHa gimme an SC1800 for the FW190 http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

Even the 1000kg bomb barely fits.

As a 190 jock we need them http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif but also while your at it the mustang III needs its option of the rocket tree 8 tree wing mounted rockets and the B C D need the option of "bazooka tubes"

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v97/acespace/payload.jpg

p47 needs its payload positions corrected as well http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yep. At least USAAF has some rockets though.

Salute

Rockets are much too effective in the game. And too accurate. We can hit with pairs of rockets no problem, whereas in reality, the rockets were fired in one shot, in hopes that one of them would hit.

In terms of actual destructive force, the rockets are also too powerful. A 500 KG or 1000 lb bomb would have much more effect on targets than the rockets. As it is, you can drop a 1000 lber near a tank, and not much effect. You need to be right on target. 1000 lb or 500 kg bombs could flip a large tank in the air. I have seen war footage of Stukas dive bombing and you can see the tanks which are the intended targets actually leave the ground on the impact of the bombs.

Buzzsaw, I bet you are always the life of the party http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif. We were having a 190gasm in here until you let reality in.

Just kidding mate.

i think the need for 190 with rockets is more than p51 http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

but yeah, close with bombs is no cigar, and ive seen guncam footage of rockets on typhoon fly sooo sweetly onto a curved track or road http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

also seen them spread (often intended btw) or not be that great

Now this one would come handy:
http://people.freenet.de/majamaki/page193.jpg

(But yet not as handy as one lousy bomb on F-2 and F-4, which still seems to be to much to ask after all these years)
